New Licensing Procedures at Lone Star Park

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–AUGUST 29, 2024–Per the Texas Racing Commission, all owners, trainers and jockeys now must be currently licensed prior to the entry of their horses.

Please check with the TXRC to see if you need fingerprints with your renewal. If so, it will require more time.

Lone Star Park asks that trainers contact their owners to check and see if their owner's license is current and has a valid expiration date before entering horses. Please note when your owner's license will expire so it can be updated if and when it happens to expire mid-meet.

More licensing information is available on the TXRC's website (www.txrc.texas.gov). CLICK HERE to be redirected directly to their licensing page.

The first day of racing is slated for Friday, September 6, and will run through Saturday, November 16, this year.

Please make plans to join us this fall. We look forward to having you race here at Lone Star Park.
