Coggins tests are now required to be dated within 60 days of arrival at Lone Star Park for the remainder of the 2024 season.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–OCTOBER 9, 2024—Due to the recent positives for Equine Infectious Anemia within the quarter horse racing community, Coggins tests are now required to be dated within 60 days of arrival for the remainder of the 2024 race meet.

Horsemen will have until October 21 before this will be enforced. This will allow time, if necessary, for new Coggins to be drawn, sent to the lab, and the results to be received.

Please check the dates of the Coggins test on all of your horses if you plan to ship in any time during the rest of this race meet.

Please note that this is only for horses shipping into Lone Star Park, not horses already stabled there unless they leave the property and then want to return.
