Lone Star Park will be taking entries on Thursday, October 17th, for the October 24th and 26th races, in preparation for the Texas Classic Futurity trials, which may be split into two days.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–OCTOBER 15, 2024–As a reminder, on Thursday, October 17, Lone Star Park will be taking entries for both Thursday, October 24, and Friday, October 25 race days.

They are doing this in case the Texas Classic Futurity trials require two days of trials. Current numbers indicate they should all be able to be run on Friday. However, they will only be split into two days if they receive over 140 entries.

If Lone Star Park receives 141 entries or more, it will split the trials into two days and the overnight races for Thursday between the two days. If it has 140 or fewer entries, all trials will be held on Friday, and all overnight races will be run on Thursday.
