The thrid-annual Sandy Ridge at the Red Mile Quarter Horse Meet will be held March 15 thru March 25 in Lexington, Kentucky.

LEXINGTON, KY–OCTOBER 29, 2024–Kentucky Quarter Horse Racing Association (KyQHRA) announced today that the 2025 official race dates for the Sandy Ridge meet at the Red Mile in Lexington have been approved for March 16 through 25 by the Kentucky Racing Commission.

Sandy Ridge at the Red Mile will run six days over a two-week period, beginning Sunday, March 16, Monday, March 17th, and Tuesday, March 18th.  The second week will begin Sunday, March 23, and Monday, March 24, with closing day set for Tuesday, March 25.

"We are very excited about the upcoming Kentucky Quarter Horse racing season," said KYQHRA President Christina Sowders. "Each year has improved from the previous, and we expect more horsemen, larger fields, and higher purses for 2025."

A condition book for the meet is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
