1,000 Yard Winter Championship To Be Carded Back After Being Declared A No Contest

LOS ALAMITOS, CA–DECEMBER 8, 2024– Race eight on Sunday night at Los Alamitos, which was the running of the $50,000 1,000 Yard Winter Championship, was declared a no-contest by the racing stewards after a gate malfunction affected the start of the race.

The Winter Championship, the final race on the Sunday night program, will be carded next weekend.

The net pool wagered in Sunday’s Pick 6 was paid in its entirety to tickets that correctly had five out of five going into the final race of the card. The Pick 6 with the numbers 5-10-6-1-4-ALL each returned $495.60.

The $10,000 added money from Sunday’s Pick 6 Promo will carry over to the Saturday night program on December 14.

Here are the other refunds and results from the no-contest race number 8 on Sunday:

> $1 TRIFECTA was Refunded
> 10 cent SUPERFECTA was Refunded
> $1 DAILY DOUBLE 4-ALL paid $2.10
> $1 Pick 3 with 1-4-ALL paid $5.80
> The $1 Pick 4 with 6-1-4-ALL paid $28.10
> The $2 Pick 6 with 5-10-6-1-4-ALL paid $495.60

The $1 Plack Pick All with 3,6-2,4,6-3,5-7,9,10-2,6-1,4-4,5-ALL paid $82.00 Run, Sweet Lil' Darlin, Rock N Roll Song, Blackjack Betty, and Golden And Blue.
