Remington Park Training Races Moved To February 14

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–FEBRUARY 10, 2025–Due to forecasted winter weather this week in central Oklahoma, Remington Park will reschedule the first set of training races.

Originally slated for Wednesday, February 12, the 13 training races will now move to Friday, February 14. The first of the 13 will leave the starting gate at 11:00 a.m.

All Remington Park training races are held at 250 yards. The events, also known as schooling races, are utilized by trainers to ready young two-year-olds for the start of their careers. A horse handling the training race professionally, and in a reasonable time, is then approved for pari-mutuel racing by the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission stewards.

The 2025 American Quarter Horse, Paint, and Appaloosa Season at Remington Park will begin on March 6 and continue to May 31.
