Pacific Northwest Horseman Baxter Andruss Passes Away at 99

VANCOUVER, WA–FEBRUARY 19, 2025–Northwest leader Baxter "Andy" Andruss passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 99 years and 7 months. 

Andruss is legendary for his leadership in developing Quarter Horse racing in the Pacific Northwest, as well as his work as a trainer and horseman.

His Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, February 28, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at 1101 N E 112th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98684. 

There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and the service will begin at 12:30 p.m. 

After the service everyone is invited to join the family at the Old Spaghetti Factory for lunch and vitiation with the family.  The Old Spaghetti Factory is located at 730 S E 160th Avenue, Vancouver, WA  98684.
