OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–MARCH 23, 2025–StallioneSearch.com has continues its webcast coverage of quarter horse racing with the Oklahoma Futurity (G2) and Oklahoma Derby (G3) weekend at Remington Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

In this episode, StallioneSearch.com was present to capture the action of the 2025 $219,635 Oklahoma Derby (G3). This included a post-race interview with former AQHA World Champion Jockey Francisco Calderon after his victory aboard the fastest qualifier, Cowboy Blue Z.

After qualifying with the fastest time in the trials, the 3-year-old colt by Flying Cowboy 123, trained by Mike Joiner, drew the far outside post position in the 350-yard race.

Bred in Texas by Slash Z Quarter Horses, Cowboy Blue Z entered the finals after previously achieving finalist status in both the Texas Classic Futurity (G1) and the Oklahoma Futurity (G2) last year.
