Ajax Downs 25-day Quarter Horse meet for 2025 includes 14 stakes races.

AJAX, ONT–APRIL 21, 2025–Ajax Downs released their 2025 Quarter Horse race meet event and stakes schedule. The popular fan-friendly racetrack will host a 25-day meet beginning on May 7 and concluding on October 22.

All race days are scheduled for Wednesdays each week, with the exception of the following dates: June 15, July 20, August 24, and August 31, which will take place on Sundays. Additionally, there will be racing on Monday, October 13.

Post times generally start at 12:55 p.m. However, from May 7 to August 20, they will begin at 1:45 p.m. On Wednesday, July 2, races will start at 4:15 p.m. for Twilight Racing Night.

Ajax Downs will host an array of on-track events during the meet, including the Father’s Day card on June 15, Craft Beer and Weiner Dog Racing Day on July 20, Family Fun Day on August 24, and Pumpkin Day on October 13. Post time for each day’s event will begin at 12:55 p.m

A busy stakes schedule kicks off with the Ajax Downs Open Derby on May 21. It ends with Canada’s richest Quarter Horse race, the Alex Picov Memorial Futurity, on closing day, October 22.
