EUREKA, KS–SEPTEMBER 17, 2025–The Kansas Quarter Horse Racing Association (KQHRA) has announced that its annual Kansas Quarter Horse Racing Convention will be held on January 31, 2026, at Gilley’s Casino in Park City, Kansas.

The convention will bring breeders, owners, and industry professionals together for a day of networking and discussions on the future of Quarter Horse racing in the state. Attendees can look forward to presentations on breeding, racing regulations, and other topics central to the growth of the Kansas racing program.

The conclusion of the Kansas Stallion Auction will coincide with the event, scheduled to close at 10:00 p.m. on January 31, 2026. The online auction is a key opportunity for breeders, offering access to breeding rights to leading stallions for the upcoming season.

Progeny from stallions purchased through this auction will also gain eligibility for the 2029 Kansas Jackpot, which is projected to feature an estimated $50,000 in added money.

Organizers note that the alignment of the convention and auction provides a “comprehensive experience” for participants who want to engage in both the racing and breeding aspects of the Quarter Horse Racing industry.
