AMARILLO, TX—OCTOBER 1, 2025—The countdown is on for the 2025 AQHA Racing Challenge Championships and AQHA Racing Conference, set for October 15–18 at The Downs at Albuquerque.

Horse racing professionals, enthusiasts, and industry stakeholders will gather for four days of racing action and forward-looking discussion.

Industry Issues on the Agenda

The AQHA Racing Conference will feature leading voices in the sport addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing Quarter Horse racing today. Tentative topics include:

• Integrity and Enforcement: How tracks, affiliates, and regulators
  are working together to stop those seeking an unfair advantage.
• Unregulated Racing: The risks it poses and steps being taken
   to combat its spread.
• Health and Safety: Disease and other threats in racing, with
   strategies to mitigate risk.
• Ownership Innovation: How micro-share ownership of
  Quarter Horses could bring new fans and investors to the sport.

Expert Speakers

Speakers and panelists include experts from the Kenneth L. Maddy Equine Analytical Chemistry Laboratory at UC Davis, the United States Department of Agriculture, the Texas Racing Commission, racetrack executives, and other industry leaders dedicated to advancing integrity and shaping the sport's future.
