GAINESVILLE, TX–JANUARY 30, 2026–Fastrack announced today that it is officially rescheduling its intended February 14 horse sale, moving all current consignments to the April auction. This decision follows a period of significant winter weather across the region and direct feedback from the industry’s consignors.

“After talking to a lot of consignors, it is clear that between the winter weather everyone has been tackling and the start of breeding season, the timeline has become a bit too tight for them to get everything done as needed,” said Butch Wise. “We have decided to move all February consignments to the April sale as part of this new venture. Our goal is to figure out what works best for our consignors, and we will continue to use their feedback to organize a schedule that is both convenient and easy for everyone involved.”

The recent string of winter storms has created logistical hurdles, making it difficult for consignors to capture the high-quality photography and marketing assets necessary for a successful sale. By combining the February entries into the April date, Fastrack is ensuring that every horse is accurately advertised and that sellers have the time needed to present their stock at the highest professional standard.

The move to April provides a more stable window for both buyers and sellers, avoiding the peak of winter weather and allowing the market to focus on the quality of the horses being offered.
