SunRay Park & Casino has moved its 2026 live racing season up one week, with opening day now set for April 10

FARMINGTON, NM–FEBRUARY 26, 2026—SunRay Park & Casino will begin its 2026 live racing season one week earlier than originally scheduled, with opening day now set for April 10.

The revised meet will run April 10 through May 17, 2026, featuring live racing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. First post is set for 1:15 p.m.

Horsemen should take note that stall applications are due March 2. The barn area will open March 23, and the track will open for training March 27. Management indicated the Condition Book is expected to be released later this week as officials finalize adjustments tied to the updated racing calendar.

SunRay Park officials said the earlier start positions the 2026 season for a strong spring campaign while giving horsemen adequate time to prepare for opening weekend.
