Delta Downs in Vinton, Louisiana will host a 46-day Quarter Horse meet from April 24 through July 18, 2026, highlighted by a full schedule of stakes races.

VINTON, LA—MARCH 31, 2026–Downs will conduct its 2026 Quarter Horse meet over 46 days from April 24 through July 18, highlighted by a full schedule of stakes races. First post is set for 6:15 p.m. (CST) throughout the meet.

Opening night on April 24 includes the Miss Polly Classic (G3) with a $50,000 guaranteed purse and the Titanium Stakes (RG3) at $40,000 guaranteed, along with Old South Derby Trials. The Old South Futurity trials will follow on April 25.

The Old South Futurity and Derby finals both carry $50,000 added purses and are scheduled for May 15 and 16. The Lassie and Laddie Futurities continue the juvenile division later in May, each offering $75,000 added in their finals on May 22 and 23, along with $50,000 guaranteed juvenile stakes.

The Firecracker series anchors the middle of the meet, with the Firecracker Derby ($75,000 added) and Firecracker Futurity ($100,000 added) set for July 4.

The Lee Berwick Futurity (RG1), the second-richest Quarter Horse futurity in Louisiana, is scheduled for July 11 with a $200,000 added purse.

That same program also features the Delta Downs Louisiana Bred Oaks and Derby, each with $75,000 added, along with the Louisiana Juvenile ($75,000 guaranteed), Louisiana Starter ($40,000 guaranteed), and the $50,000 guaranteed Nag Nest Stakes.
