EVANSTON, WY–JUNE 20, 2026–Wyoming Downs is utilizing the McLLOYD Timing System throughout its 2026 live racing season, giving horsemen, owners, trainers and racing fans access to advanced race-tracking data for every horse competing at the track.
The technology provides detailed performance metrics including sectional times, race tracking information and miles-per-hour measurements, offering a deeper look into how races unfold from start to finish.
McLLOYD's tracking devices are currently used at several prominent international racing venues, including tracks in France, Qatar, South Africa, Hong Kong and Italy. The system has also been implemented in the United States at Kentucky Downs, a sister track to Wyoming Downs.
Track officials said updated reports will be made available following each race weekend, typically on Mondays or Tuesdays after the Friday-through-Sunday racing programs. The data will allow connections to review individual performances, analyze race dynamics and monitor horses throughout the meet.
Horsemen can access current and archived reports, along with statistics specific to individual runners, through the Wyoming Downs Horsemen's portal at: https://wydowns.com/horsemen/.
Wyoming Downs officials encourage owners and trainers to take advantage of the performance tool throughout the season as additional race data becomes available each week.
