CYPRESS, CA—JUNE 29, 2026—Los Alamitos Race Course will provide an enhanced simulcast presentation for its weekend night Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred racing programs starting Sunday, July 5. The debut broadcast will feature a full night of trials for the California-bred Governor’s Cup Futurity and Governor’s Cup Derby.

For fans who cannot attend on-track or visit an off-track satellite facility, the updated television, simulcast, and live streaming options ensure steady coverage of every race.

Viewers have several convenient ways to watch the HD action live. Television audiences can continue to tune in via FanDuel TV or FanDuel Racing through their local cable or satellite provider. Free live streaming also remains easily accessible at LosAlamitos.com, alongside options such as RTN.tv The live feed is also available via major wagering platforms, including FanDuel, TVG, TwinSpires, NYRA Bets, and Xpressbet.

The updated visual presentation includes regular use of the track's Quarter Horse drone coverage—operated by award-winning pilots—along with new camera angles designed to improve the viewing experience. Continuing to call the action is veteran track announcer Michael Wrona. A native of Australia who has called races in six countries, Wrona brings precision, preparation, and his signature humor to the microphone, setting the tone for each race with his well-known phrase, “Racing!” as the horses break from the gate.

The nightly coverage will be guided by an experienced team of presenters, including former Grade 1 Quarter Horse stakes-winning rider Eulices Gomez, alongside a strong lineup of racing analysts and handicappers. The July 5th program will feature a special guest appearance by popular analyst Dave Weaver. Additionally, racing personality Jose Contreras will be on the set starting on Saturday, July 18.

This upcoming holiday weekend also marks the closing weekend of the Los Angeles County Fair Meet at Los Alamitos. The daytime simulcast will also feature enhanced coverage anchored by three highly familiar racing experts, with Dave Weaver and Kurt Hoover on set, and Mike Willman reporting live throughout the afternoon.

Additionally, Saturday’s Grade 2 Great Lady M. Stakes—for fillies and mares 3-year-olds and up at 6 ½ furlongs—will be featured nationally as part of America’s Day at the Races on Fox Sports 1.
