VINTON, LA–JULY 12, 2026– StallioneSearch.com has released its webcast coverage of the 2026 Delta Downs Louisiana-Bred Derby (RG1) from Delta Downs in Vinton, Louisiana.

Valiant Heart Z entered the 400-yard restricted Grade 1 Derby seeking his fourth consecutive victory. The Luis Armando Castellanos-owned gelding was coming off a win in the LQHBA Louisiana Million Invitational Stakes before qualifying for the Derby final.

The son of Gold Heart Eagle V is trained by Santiago Villaseca. With Jorge Garcia aboard, Valiant Heart Z covered the 400 yards in :19.553, earning a 105 speed index. The bay gelding dueled for the lead in the early stages before finding another gear in the stretch, pulling away to defeat San Lorenzo Bossman by 1 1/4 lengths. StallioneSearch.com spoke with winning jockey Nestor Duran following the victory.
