Lone Star Park stall applications for the 2026 Fall Meeting of Champions are due Wednesday, August 5

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—AUGUST 3, 2026— Lone Star Park has issued a reminder to horsemen that stall applications for the 2026 Fall Meeting of Champions are due Wednesday, August 5, as preparations continue for the upcoming American Quarter Horse racing season.

The stall application is available in the Horsemen's Information section of the Lone Star Park website. Horsemen planning to compete during the 32-day stand are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline to ensure consideration for stable space.

The stable area is scheduled to open for receiving horses on Monday, August 24, with the racing surface opening for training on Monday, August 31. Lone Star Park will also host its annual Thoroughbred Yearling Sale on Tuesday, August 26, prior to the start of training.

The 2026 Fall Meeting of Champions opens Friday, September 11, and continues through Saturday, November 21, featuring 32 live race dates dedicated to American Quarter Horse racing.

Among the marquee events on the schedule are the Dash for Cash Futurity and Dash for Cash Derby on Saturday, October 10, followed by the prestigious Texas Classic Futurity, Texas Classic Derby, and Texas Classic Oaks on Saturday, November 21, closing out the meet with one of the sport's richest programs.
