ALBUQUERQUE, NM–AUGUST 8, 2026– StallioneSearch.com begins three days of coverage from The Downs at Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico, featuring the trials for the All American Futurity (G1), All American Derby (G1) and All American Oaks (G1).

In this episode, StallioneSearch was on hand to recap the five fastest qualifiers from Friday’s opening day of time trials for the $3 million All American Futurity (G1), along with interviews with trainer Jed Vane and jockey Nestor Duran.

Fourteen 440-yard trials were contested Friday, with the five fastest 2-year-olds earning berths in the September 7 final. Another 14 trials will be conducted Saturday to determine the remaining five finalists. The winner of the Labor Day classic will take home $1.5 million.

Making his first official Quarter Horse start, Chile Gato turned in the fastest performance of the opening day. The 2-year-old colt broke sharply under champion jockey Francisco Calderon in the eighth trial and went on to defeat Grade 1-placed Ask Her To Fly by 1 1/4 lengths.

Chile Gato stopped the timer in 20.911 seconds, earning a 102 speed index and posting the fastest qualifying time from Friday’s 14 trials.

The colt had made one previous start against Paints at Remington Park in April, finishing off the board. Friday’s victory marked his first Quarter Horse win and added $5,800 to his earnings
