GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—AUGUST 10, 2026—Lone Star Park has announced its training, schooling, workout and stabling schedule for horsemen preparing for the upcoming Fall Meeting of Champions.
Race meet stabling will begin on Monday, August 24, with regular training hours scheduled to start on Monday, August 31.
The track will be open for training from 7 to 10 a.m., with a renovation break at 8:25 a.m. Training will be closed on Sundays. The track will also be closed for training Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
Gate schooling will begin Tuesday, September 1, and will be available Tuesdays through Saturdays.
Clocking and official workouts will also begin September 1 and will be conducted daily.
Beginning September 1, Thoroughbreds and Arabians not stabled on the Lone Star Park grounds will be permitted to ship in and work only on non-race days.
Paddock schooling is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 8, and will be available on non-race days from 10 a.m. until noon.
In addition to preparations for the race meet, horses consigned to the Thoroughbred Yearling Sale may begin shipping onto the grounds on Friday, August 21. The sale is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, beginning at 11 a.m.
Lone Star Park officials noted that all schedules are subject to change.
