Multiple Stakes Winner Flight Club Dominates $11,383(US) EGP Bonus Challenge

GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALB–JULY 14, 2024–Multiple stakes winner Flight Club rolled to his 13th career stakes win on Sunday when he won the $11,383(US) EGP Bonus Challenge by 1-1/4 lengths at Evergreen Park.

Under regular jockey J.B. Botello, Flight Club completed the 350 yards in 18.141 seconds, equaling a 91-speed index into a 15 mph crosswind. It was the 15th win in 22 career starts for the California-bred son of multiple stakes sire Foose.

William Leech saddled the gray gelding for owner Charles G. Stojan. Steve D. Burns, DVM bred Flight Club from the Separatist mare Separate Flight. The $6,220(US) payday boosted Flight Clubs earnings to $162,254.

Stablemate Getit Foose finished second to earn $3,051(US) for owner Stojan. Leech named jockey Jose Rocha to ride the Foose California-bred gelding from the Separatist mare Getit Together. Martha F. Wells bred the stakes winner of $65,733.

Agatha Fehr's Krash On Okey finished a head back to earn $1,408(US) for third. Trainer Misael Moreno named jockey Jesus Medina to ride the Krash Cartel Mexico-bred from the Okey Dokey Dale mare Stayin On Okey. Isaak Fehr bred the multiple stakes-placed earner of $45,949.

Northfork Boss completed the field. Heza Perfect Dasher was scratched.
