AMARILLO, TX–MARCH 10, 2026– With one simple enrollment, the AQHA Racing Challenge provides value to a horse for a lifetime.
In 2025, Challenge-enrolled yearlings offered at the 2025 sales were worth an average of 61% more than non-enrolled horses, and the median sale prices for Challenge-enrolled horses was almost double of non-enrolled horses, according to information gathered by Q-Data.
The average sale price for AQHA Challenge-enrolled yearlings was $49,547, compared to $30,870 for non-enrolled horses — nearly $19,000 more per head.
Median sale price was $30,000, almost double the non-enrolled median of $17,000, showing stronger results across the middle of the market, not just the top end.
