Three regional stakes in the AQHA Racing Challenge at Will Rogers Downs have moved dates.

AMARILLO, TX–JULY 21, 2026–Three regional stakes in the AQHA Racing Challenge at Will Rogers Downs have moved dates.

The races will now have trials held September 15 and the finals on September 28.

They include the $30,000-added Adequan Will Rogers Derby Challenge, $30,000-added John Deere Will Rogers Juvenile Challenge, and $20,000-added Cox Ranch Will Rogers Distaff Challenge (G3).

The stakes races provide a springboard to the AQHA Racing Challenge Championships, which will be held at The Downs at Albuquerque on October 17. Among the horses who have used these regional stakes to launch to championship success is Jess My Hocks, a Grade 1 winner and earner of more than $460,000. In 2020, the horse won the Adequan Will Rogers Derby Challenge, then captured his first graded stakes with the Adequan Derby Challenge Championship (G3). He would go on to win multiple Grade 1s.
