Thirty-eight state-breds has been entered in Saturday’s 350-yard Louisiana Downs Maiden Stakes trials at Louisiana Downs.

BOSSIER CITY, LA—JANUARY 16, 2017—A total of 38 state-bred 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds has been entered in Saturday’s 350-yard Louisiana Downs Maiden Stakes trials at Louisiana Downs.

Rogers Farm’s RF Shez Leaving You, a homebred gray 3-year-old daughter of Coronas Leaving You, is coming off of an eighth-place finish, two lengths behind winner You Drive I Fly, in the 400-yard, $1-million Louisiana Million Futurity (RG1) at Evangeline Downs on December 16. The filly has earned $37,370 from nine starts.

RF Shez Leaving You will be ridden by Damian Martinez from post 9 in the last of four trials.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the February 10, $15,000-added Louisiana Downs Maiden Stakes final.
