LOS ALAMITOS, CA–MARCH 27–2025–A Pick Six carryover of $55,178, a four-pack of races for juvenile sprinters, and an eye catching field of nine fillies and mares will headline an action packed nine-race program on Saturday at Los Alamitos.

The Pick Six sequence will start in race four and with the new money that will be bet on Saturday night, the total pool could be in the $165,000 to $175,000 range.

The races for 2-year-old Quarter Horses will begin with the fifth event of the night and will continue in races 6, 7 and 8.

Each of the four races for juveniles will have seven horses or more with the likes of the KVN Corona filly Beuteeful, who had the fastest of 37 drills gate drills at 220 yards on March 8, and the Kiss My Hocks colt Mr Hocks, who was purchased for $250,000 at the Heritage Place September Yearling Sale, among the top juveniles in action.

The marquee race is the 350-yard allowance in race 9 as the field will feature the consistent and talented La Peralta, Oaks trialists Open Book and Mas Prieta and recent allowance placed runners Cutesy, More Than I Candy and Ebw Inception.

Salvador Banuelos, Jr.’s La Peralta also exits a strong runner-up effort in an allowance event and her record includes five top two finishes in nine starts. She was also second in a trial to the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity and second in a trial to the Ed Burke Million Futurity. Irving Lara will pilot her for Jaime Gomez from post number seven.
