GRANTS PASS, OR–OCTOBER 13, 2025A full field of three-year-old Quarter Horses will line up Monday afternoon for the $20,000-added Autumn Derby Overnight Stakes, a 400-yard dash scheduled for approximately 2:40 PM. The top ten qualifiers return following sharp trial efforts, headlined by morning-line favorite Ccr Political Wrap (2-1), who brings both form and consistency into the final.

Owned and bred in Oregon by Cedar Creek Tree Farm Ranch and Racing, Ccr Political Wrap has established herself as a standout in the region with five consecutive wins and six victories overall from 13 career starts, amassing $37,393 in earnings. The daughter of leading sire Apollitical Jess is out of the productive mare Wrap You Up, by Walk Thru Fire. Trained by Hector Magallanes, she will break from post eight under regular rider Mark A. Jasso.

The filly enters the final in peak form and will look to maintain her perfect record through the latter half of the season.

Challenging the favorite is Secretarysbestcard, the 4-1 second choice on the morning line. Bred and trained by Jose Juan Baca and owned by JBC Stables, the filly was also bred in Oregon. She is by Docs Best Card, out of Chicks Wildcat by the Thoroughbred sire Returning, and will leave from post position three with Manuel Garcia in the irons.

Both top contenders bring home-track experience and local breeding ties into this regional stakes event, promising a competitive renewal of the Autumn Derby Overnight Stakes.

The Autumn Derby Overnight Stakes is a featured event on the Monday program and is restricted to three-year-olds who posted the ten fastest qualifying times. The race will be run at a distance of 400 yards, a classic Quarter Horse trip where a clean break and early speed will be critical to victory.

Fans can expect a fast and competitive dash as these sophomores aim to close out the season with a stakes win and add to their résumés ahead of next year's older horse campaigns.
