LQHBA conducted its annual "Hip Drawing" for the 2024 LQHBA Yearling Sale today.

ALEXANDRIA, LA—MAY 23, 2024—LQHBA held its annual LQHBA Yearling Sale "hip draw" today at the LQHBA office in Alexandria.

Four hundred eighty-five (485) yearlings have been consigned to the 2024 LQHBA Yearling Sale, which will be held on August 2 and 3 at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana. The sale will start promptly at 10 a.m. (CDT) each day.

Hips 1 through 243 will sell on Friday, August 2, and Hips 244 through 485 will be offered on Saturday, August 3.

All hip draws are final this year, and no hip swaps will be made.

Coggins and health papers for all yearlings consigned are due in the LQHBA office on or before Friday, July 19, along with any other outstanding paperwork that may be due prior to the sale.
