LQHBA is accepting stallion services for its annual LQHBA Stallion Auctions through Friday, November 15.

ALEXANDRIA, LA–NOVEMBER 13, 2024–The Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders' Association (LQHBA) is accepting stallion service donations to benefit its scholarship program for its upcoming 2025 LQHBA Stallion Auction.

The annual Online Auction bidding will begin approximately December 13, 2024, and continue through Friday, January 17, 2025. The LQHBA stallion auction website can be found at www.lqhbastallionauction.com.

The net proceeds received from each donated breeding are awarded to graduating Louisiana high school seniors to help them with the financial expenses of starting college.

Since its beginning in 2001, this program has awarded over $850,000. It is a great contribution to Louisiana’s Future!

All donations will be auctioned online on the LQHBA stallion auction website.

LQHBA will auction the breeding with any farm fees and chute fees. All minimum bids will include farm and chute fees. The price bid is the TOTAL price paid by the winning bidder.  The bid does NOT include any boarding fees related to the care of the mare. 

Every stallion donated will be featured on LQHBA's online auction website with a picture, pedigree information, and a link to the farm's website where the stallion is standing. If the stallion is listed on www.stallionesearch.com, LQHBA will link to his "member stallion" page for additional information.

If the farm does not have a website or the stallion is not listed on stallionesearch.com, LQHBA will upload information provided by the stallion owner to assist in marketing the stallion.
