ROSWELL, NM–DECEMBER 2, 2024–Freshman Sire Good Candy P SI 92 is returning to New Mexico for the 2025 breeding season. He will be standing at Prestige Equine for $1,500.

Owned by Cavenaugh Quarter Horses, LLC, Good Candy P was the high-seller at the 2018 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale for $340,000. The sorrel stallion won or placed in two of seven career starts, earning $58,891. He was a finalist in the Grade 1 $1 million Ruidoso QH Futurity and the Grade 3 $48,500 Mr Master Bug Stakes at Remington Park.

Good Candy P started his stud career in 2021 after retiring from the race track. The son of Good Reason SA has sired multiple winners and money earners from a limited number of two-year-old starters in 2024.

His sire, two-time champion Good Reason SA SI 102 ($1,446,727), has nearly $7 million in progeny earners, including Good Candy P’s 3/4-brother two-time AQHA Racing champion Jess Good Candy SI 96 (8 wins to 3, $2,014,703 All American Futurity-G1, Ruidoso Derby-G1, etc.),

Send Me The Wagon won 10 of 20 starts, earning $179,310, and set a 400-yard track record at Canterbury Park in 19.583 seconds.
