The Oklahoma Appaloosa Racing Association 2025 Stallion Service Auction, befitting the Cricket Bars Futurity, will begin Sunday, December 15, and run through Monday, January 20, 2025.

NORMAN, OK–DECEMBER 12, 2024–The 2025 Oklahoma Appaloosa Racing Association's Annual Stallion Service Auction will begin at 12:15 a.m. (CST), Sunday, December 15, and run through 7:00 p.m. (CST), Monday, January 20, 2025.

The annual Stallion Auction will benefit the 2025 Cricket Bars Futurity, the only all-Appaloosa futurity in America and the longest-running – 58th edition! The auction will be conducted on 32auctions.com and linked to the OAR website.

Breedings to some 40+stallions that include Appaloosa, Quarter Horse, and Paints will be offered. The OAR will be adding stallions to the auction through December 13th. To donate a stallion service, CLICK HERE.

OAR will award a Stallion Award of $1000 to the stallion owner who donates the breeding to the 2025 Auction if that stallion is the sire of the 2028 Cricket Bars Futurity winner!

Every stallion donated will be featured on the OAR website, Facebook, and flyers with stats, pictures, progeny, and other accomplishments.

This OAR Stallion Service auction will use extended and proxy bidding.

Extended bidding: If two people are bidding on the same stallion at closing time, the auction will extend in three-minute increments until one stops bidding or 30 minutes have passed.

Proxy bidding: A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend to win the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you up to your maximum proxy bid amount as additional bids are entered on the item.
