OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA–JANUARY 17, 2026– Volcoms Delight was honored January 14 during the AQHA Racing Champions Ceremony at Heritage Place in Oklahoma City after earning the AQHA Dam of Distinction title. The honor recognizes her impact as one of the most accomplished producing mares in Quarter Horse racing.

The AQHA Dam of Distinction designation is awarded to mares whose produce records meet elite standards, including producing multiple AQHA racing champions, Grade 1 stakes winners, or top 10 money earners in a single year. Volcoms Delight joins a select group of broodmares whose influence is defined by sustained performance through their offspring.

Bred by P.K. Thomas and owned by Ruse Ranch, Volcoms Delight is by Volcom and out of Grade 1 stakes winner Lethal Delight by Dean Miracle. She has produced 12 foals, with 10 starters earning a combined $1,024,754. Her progeny record is highlighted by champions Relentless Eagle and Volcoms Favorite.

Relentless Eagle, a gelding by champion sire Hes Relentless, compiled a race record of 16-6-2-1 with earnings of $351,703. His career included victories in the Texas Classic Derby (G1) and the Dash For Cash Derby (G2).

Volcoms Favorite, a gelding by undefeated two-time champion and champion sire Jess Good Candy, recorded a race record of 29-7-4-9 with earnings of $267,402. His resume includes wins in the AQHA Distance Challenge Championship (G1) and the Lip Chip Distance Stakes (G2).

Volcoms Delight sold for $45,000 at the 2012 Los Alamitos Equine Sale to George Michael. She later passed through the 2023 Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale, where she was purchased for $12,000 by Carlos Espinoza.

Her recognition as an AQHA Dam of Distinction reflects the quality of performers she has contributed to the sport.
