Champion Sire Tempting Dash Sires Another 2026 Qualifier - Tempting Lu

BREAUX BRIDGE–MARCH 13, 2026–Champion sire Tempting Dash added another qualifier to his early 2026 season resume when Tempting Lu posted the fastest qualifying time to the $335,000 West Texas Futurity (G2) during trials held Friday, March 13, at Sunland Park. She will return for the final on April 4.

Making her career debut, Tempting Lu delivered an impressive performance under jockey Jose Enriquez in the sixth trial. Breaking in third and drifting out briefly, the filly quickly gathered herself before finishing strongly for a 2 1/4-length victory. She stopped the clock in 15.002 for 300 yards and earned a 99 speed index.

Bred by Simmons Racing, Tempting Lu is owned by AA Farms LLC and trained by Eric Valenzuela. She is out of the Heza Fast Dash mare La Mos Chingono.

Tempting Dash also sired Poppin Off, who qualified to the $125,000-est. Louisiana Downs Maiden Classic on February 24. He is set to return in the March 21 final.

To date, Tempting Dash has sired 463 winners, 52 stakes winners, and 56 stakes-placed runners, with progeny earnings of more than $23.3 million and average earnings per starter of $31,500.

Robicheaux Ranch is managing Tempting Dash’s frozen semen for the 2026 breeding season. His fee is $5,000 (ICSI only), plus a $700 booking fee.

Tempting Dash remains a Texas Accredited Stallion, and his foals will continue to be eligible for the Texas-Bred accreditation program, adding long-term value for breeders across the region.
