NORMAN, OK–APRIL 6, 2026–FDD Dynasty’s reach continues to stretch across the map, with this past weekend highlighted by a stakes winner at Sunland Park and a major futurity and derby trials at Remington Park.
At Sunland Park, Hendry put everything together in just his second career start, capturing the $100,000 West Texas Juvenile on April 4. The gray gelding broke cleanly, stayed engaged through an early duel, and asserted himself late to stop the clock in :15.170 for 300 yards.
Ridden by Oscar Andrade Jr., Hendry earned $47,000 for the win, showing both professionalism and finishing power well beyond his experience level. Trained by Tony Sedillo, he broke his maiden from two starts with the victory and now has $48,780 in the bank.
Owned by Tungsten Racing Partnership and trained by Tony Sedillo, MJ Farms bred the gelding in New Mexico out of Fanncee by Big Daddy Cartel.
The pedigree backs up the performance. Hendry is a $165,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate and is out of a half-sister to world champion Asscher ($489,674). He is from the family of additional champions Astica ($411,623) and Alice K White ($276,837).
While Hendry delivered the weekend’s stakes headline, FDD Dynasty’s presence was just as strong in the Remington Park trials, where his runners secured multiple spots in upcoming Grade 1 finals.
In the trials for the $971,955 Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity-RG1, Heritage Of Power advanced out of the fastest trial of the night. The gray filly finished third behind fastest qualifier Apoliticalgolddigger and Kisses N Candy, holding her own against the top juveniles on the grounds.
She had already shown promise, breaking her maiden in March, and continues to trend forward at the right time. Leonardo Alcala trains for owner Marisol Alvarado. Sam Green bred her out of Eye Eye Captain by Captain Courage.
The $217,910 Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Derby-RG1 trials produced another standout by FDD Dynasty in Mm Rampage ($50,554), who turned in one of the most authoritative performances of the night.
The 3-year-old gelding broke from the gates in the lead and never gave his rivals a chance, cruising wire to wire with a length advantage while posting a 98 speed index in :19.458—the third-fastest qualifying time.
Owned and bred in Oklahoma by Mark and Fay Annette McCloy, Mm Rampage is out of Princess Jesse by Jesse James Jr. He is trained by Trey Wood and ridden by Angel Ramirez.
Also punching his ticket to the finals was JS Fdd who clocked the fourth-fastest time of :19.460 under jockey Juan Pulido. He finished second in the fastest trial of the night behind Jc Speeding, continuing a steady progression after breaking his maiden in March.
Bred in Oklahoma, Js Fdd is out of As And Js by Apollitical Jess. Trainer Leonardo Alcala saddled him for owner Marisol Alvarado.
Now with his 16th crop on the track, the champion sire has produced more than $41.5 million in earners and 215 black-type horses, an exceptional 20% stakes production rate. His influence at the highest level remains unmatched, anchored by a record six World Champions.
That list was extended in 2025 when FDD Dreams delivered a historic campaign for La Feliz Montana Ranch, sweeping the All American Derby and Champion of Champions to secure World Champion honors. It marked the first time in more than 35 years a horse completed that prestigious double.
Alongside FDD Dreams, standouts such as Danjer ($2,499,432), a two-time World Champion, Jessies First Down ($1,599,502), and Asscher ($489,674) further define the stallion’s legacy.
Weekend after weekend, across multiple states and divisions, the pattern holds—when FDD Dynasty is in the pedigree, the expectation is not just participation, but performance.
