OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 26, 2026– Uncle D kept his momentum rolling for a second straight week, siring another stakes winner Friday night at Remington Park when DW Showin D Off battled home to win the $25,000 Victoria Ennis Memorial Stakes (G2).

DW Showin D Off lived up to his name, putting on a show for owner and breeder Danny J. Watkins and trainer Dee Keener with a determined victory in the Grade 2 event for Paints and Appaloosas.

“We named this horse because it’s Danny Watkins showing Dee Keener off,” Watkins said with a laugh as he praised his trainer.

Breaking from post position eight, the Oklahoma-bred colt found himself drifting toward the middle of the track in the stretch, but still managed to get up by a head under jockey Roman Cruz as the 3-5 favorite. Cruz secured his third win on the card with the effort.

“I knew I was in front; I just wanted to keep him straight,” Cruz said.

The result was not entirely straight, but it held. DW Showin D Off covered 330 yards in :16.965 on a fast track and earned an 82 speed index.

“From the start, we knew we had a good one,” Keener said. “I think he is getting better.”

The 2-year-old colt is out of Shez Showin Off by SF Royal Quick Flash. Bred in Oklahoma by Watkins, he improved his record to two wins from three starts with one third. He earned $14,640 for the victory and now has $39,500 in earnings. Earlier this season, he finished third in the Oklahoma P&A Futurity (G1).

Uncle D’s surge to the top has been building steadily. Just a week earlier, Uncle Redheads captured the $75,000 Mr Master Bug Stakes at Remington Park, marking his sixth career win and pushing his earnings to $234,422 after adding $42,750 for the victory.

The stallion also accounted for another major placing last weekend when D Amor finished second in the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile Stakes, picking up $17,347 and increasing his earnings to $41,737.

Uncle D continues to lead all third-crop sires nationally and has now surpassed $3.1 million in progeny earnings. His runners are averaging $22,500 per starter.

That success is backed by 14 black type horses and five $100,000+ money earners. Heavens Uncle leads the group with $508,399 and wins in the Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity and Bob Moore Memorial Stakes. Uncle Redheads has now built his record to $234,422 with multiple stakes credentials. Runninagaindstwind has earned $149,021 and won the QHRAI Derby. D Fawn has reached $108,563 and was a finalist in the PCQHRA Breeders Futurity. Curlie D has earned $107,582 with placings in the Northlands Futurity and Valley Junction Juvenile Stakes.

With another stakes winner on the board and consistent results across his runners, Uncle D continues to strengthen his position among the most productive young sires in the sport.
