KAPLAN, LA–MAY 3, 2026–Cox Stallion Station is making a statement across the country, with its stallions accounting for a wave of qualifiers over the past two weeks in Louisiana, Texas, Idaho, and New Mexico.
From major futurities to juvenile stakes, derby races and more, the program’s influence is showing up in numbers—and in the caliber of horses advancing.
Freighttrain B leads the group with nine qualifiers across five states, while Carters Cartel follows with six, Ivory James now has six, Inspyre with two, and One Fabulous Eagle with two, and Jess Different adds another stakes qualifier to the list.
The results span some of the most competitive races on the stakes calendar, including the Lassie Futurity, Laddie Futurity, Texas Breeders Futurity, and multiple regional stakes.
FREIGHTTRAIN B
Freighttrain B continues to lead the charge, accounting for nine qualifiers across multiple states and major futurities. His runners are spread from Texas to Louisiana and Idaho, with representation in the John Deere Sam Houston Juvenile Challenge, Old South Futurity, Laddie Futurity, Lassie Futurity, and Idaho Cup Futurity.
Jeg Fascination B leads the group as the fastest qualifier at Sam Houston, already showing experience with two wins from three starts and $11,400 earned. In that same race, Trumps Train qualified in his first career outing.
Bmstrainiscoming heads into the Old South Futurity still a maiden but has shown consistency with two runner-up finishes. Vigilanty brings a win and a second from two starts into the Laddie Futurity after taking his trial, while Tren Politico qualified off a runner-up effort in his debut. Jess Louisiana Bee adds depth in the Laddie Juvenile field.
In the Lassie Futurity, Rdd Reasons For B enters off a trial-winning debut, while Guidrysboodietrain qualified with a second-place finish in her first start. Ojd Shez All Freight extends the stallion’s reach nationally, winning her debut and posting the fastest qualifying time to the Idaho Cup Futurity.

Freighttrain B has already sired three black type performers in 2026, including Js Freightrain, winner of the Easy Date Stakes-G2, Traxion, winner of the West Texas Derby-G3 and Jessapilottrain, who finished third in the Titanium Stakes.
Freighttrain B stands as the leading sire of money earners in Louisiana, with 109 black type horses and progeny earnings exceeding $29.1 million, averaging $30,500 per starter. His 2026 fee is $9,000.
CARTERS CARTEL
Carters Cartel added six qualifiers across Texas, Louisiana, and Idaho, with strength at both the futurity and derby level.
Cartel Fly By brings a win from three starts into the Sam Houston Juvenile Challenge. Knighttimecartel made an immediate impact with a debut win to qualify for the Old South Futurity.
Mc Blue Cartel headlines the group, remaining unbeaten through three starts with $204,330 earned, including a win in the Mardi Gras Futurity, and enters the Lassie Futurity as the fastest qualifier. Mister Carter adds a major Texas presence, finishing second in his trial to qualify for the $541,000 Texas Breeders Futurity.
In Idaho, M E Kool Carter brings a more experienced resume into the Idaho Cup Derby with three wins from seven starts, $22,912 in earnings, and prior stakes experience as both a stakes placed runner and graded finalist. Dozer Cartel qualified for the Idaho Cup Futurity after finishing third in his debut.

Carters Cartel has sired 108 black type horses with more than $17 million in progeny earnings and an average of $24,300 per starter. His first stakes winner in 2026 came with Mc Blue Cartel, who captured the Mardi Gras Futurity before becoming the fastest qualifier to the Lassie Futurity.
IVORY JAMES
Ivory James continues to show consistency in Louisiana, now with five qualifiers across both futurity and derby ranks.
Thunderrrstruck qualified to the Laddie Futurity after finishing second in his debut, while Never James brings $27,990 in earnings into the Laddie Juvenile after a trial-winning performance. He was also a finalist in the Mardi Gras Futurity earlier this season, giving him prior stakes experience heading into the final. Hey Hay What Ya Say adds experience to that same race, having previously won a Mardi Gras Futurity trial before finishing third in his latest effort.
Ivory Toasted made a strong first impression, winning her debut and posting the third-fastest qualifying time to the Lassie Futurity. Ivorys Cartel enters the $112,225 Old South Derby after a third-place trial effort. He brings $38,420 in earnings into the race and was second earlier this season in the $160,500 Louisiana Downs Maiden Classic Stakes.

Ivory James has sired 158 black type horses with $26.4 million in progeny earnings and an average of $24,200 per starter. He is already the sire of 16 winners in 2026, along with five stakes qualifiers to major Louisiana stakes races.
INSPYRE
Inspyre’s first crop is already making an impression, siring two qualifiers from limited starters.
Inspyrational qualified to the Laddie Juvenile in his debut, while La Chica Loca followed with a runner-up finish in her trial to reach the Lassie Juvenile, also in her first start.

ONE FABULOUS EAGLE
One Fabulous Eagle added two qualifiers across two stakes. Caracara Dreamin qualified to the Lassie Futurity after finishing second in her trial in her first career start. Fabulous Piloto qualified to the $75,000-added Four Corners Futurity with a third-place finish in his debut.

JESS DIFFERENT
Jess Different added another stakes presence over the weekend, continuing his upward trend as a young sire gaining traction nationally. H Two O Girl returned to action with a second-place finish in her first start of the season, bringing experience into the Gary & Sharilyn Blattner Derby with one win from five starts and $16,545 earned.

Jess Different continues to build momentum as a top-ten third-crop sire in the nation, averaging $16,000 per starter. His 2026 season is led by Zm Jess, winner of the Desert Classic Derby at Turf Paradise.
