Tres Seis Continues Legacy With Heritage Place Futurity-G1 Qualifier

PLEASANTON, TX–MAY 9, 2026–Champion sire Tres Seis records first two-year-old stakes performer of 2026 as Bett The Limit qualifies third-fastest to the $1.15 million Heritage Place Futurity-G1 finals at Remington Park.

Tres Seis’ legacy continues to grow in 2026 with his first two-year-old stakes performer of the season. Bett The Limit qualified with the third-fastest time Thursday to the $1,158,940 Heritage Place Futurity-G1.

Trainer James J. Gonzalez saddled Bett The Limit for owner Lance Powers. The undefeated filly out of Aunti Up by Ivory James has won both of her career starts and has earned more than $17,000. Bred in Oklahoma by Flying R Racing, LLC, she will make her third career start heading into the May 30 finals.

Named the AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old and Champion 2-Year-Old Colt in 2001, Tres Seis won or placed in all 12 career starts while earning $856,900. The son of Sixarun won the Golden State Futurity-G1 and finished second in the All American Futurity-G1, All American Derby-G1, and Rainbow Derby. He also ran third in the Los Alamitos Million Futurity-G1.

The champion stallion is standing his 22nd season at stud at Zerlotti Genetics Ltd. in Pleasanton, Texas. His 2026 breeding fee has been set at $12,000.

Owned by Blessed River, Ltd., Tres Seis has built one of the sport’s most accomplished sire records. From 22 crops to race, he has sired 692 winners, representing 56% winners from starters, along with 185 black-type horses, representing 15%. His runners have earned more than $31 million, averaging more than $25,000 per starter.

His top performers include former all-time leading money earner and four-time champion Ochoa SI 109, winner of 11 races and earner of $2,781,365, highlighted by victories in the All American Futurity-G1, All American Derby-G1, and Rainbow Derby-G1.

He is also the sire of Tres Passes SI 101, winner of six races and earner of $1,504,928, including the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1 and Golden State Million Futurity-G1; Tres Friends SI 97, winner of three races and earner of $932,674 with wins in the Texas Classic Futurity-G1 and Rainbow Futurity-G1; and Tres Crystals SI 96, winner of five races and earner of $692,947, led by the Heritage Place Futurity-G1.

Additional standouts include Wild Six SI 103, winner of seven races and earner of $601,632 with victories in the Rainbow Futurity-G1 and West Texas Futurity-G1; A Tres Of Paint SI 98, winner of seven races and earner of $509,184, including the Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Derby-G3 and a second-place finish in the Heritage Place Futurity-G1; Finche SI 110, winner of eight races and earner of $321,268 led by the Sooner State S.-G1; and Diamond Tres Seis SI 106, winner of 14 races and earner of $300,690, including the Refrigerator H.-G1.

Tres Seis has also firmly established himself as one of the industry’s leading broodmare sires. He currently ranks as the No. 8 All-Time Leading Broodmare Sire, with progeny earnings exceeding $56 million.

Among his leading runners as a broodmare sire are all-time leading money earner and two-time champion KJ Desparado SI 118 with earnings of $3,340,109; Ruidoso Triple Crown winner Hezgothelook Z SI 99 with earnings of $2,358,300; champions Cowboys Gun Z SI 101 with earnings of $1,590,177, Hotstepper SI 98 with earnings of $1,336,359, Kiss My Hocks SI 109 with earnings of $1,199,385, Eagle Jazz SI 95 with earnings of $903,649, As And Js SI 106 with earnings of $531,134, and Fearless Moon SI 103 with earnings of $438,672.

Beyond the racetrack, Tres Seis has become one of the leading influences in the barrel industry. According to Q-Stallions, Tres Seis is also the No. 7 All-Time Barrel Horse Sire. He has sired 330 barrel horse performers with more than $12.3 million in earnings and average earnings of more than $37,000 per performer.

As a broodmare sire, Tres Seis ranks as the No. 6 All-Time Leading Broodmare Sire of barrel money earners. He is the sire of the dams of 275 barrel horse performers with more than $6 million in earnings and average earnings of more than $40,000 per performer.
