ROSWELL, NM–JULY 21, 2026–Champion Uncle D continued to strengthen his reputation as one of the nation's leading young sires Saturday night when his daughter Collective Power became his latest graded stakes winner with a victory in the $83,104 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity at Fair Meadows.
The Oklahoma-bred bay filly continued her outstanding juvenile campaign, holding off a determined challenge from Js Paint Me Fanci to win the 350-yard stakes by a neck in :17.878, earning a 90 speed index.
Sent off at 3-1, Collective Power broke quickly and dueled throughout before digging in late to secure the victory for owners Loyd J. Yother and J. Garvan Kelly.
Collective Power is out of Power Fade, by Painted Turnpike. Bred in Oklahoma by her owners, she is trained by Dee Keener and was ridden by Roman Cruz.
The $31,580 winner's share increased Collective Power's earnings to $44,592 while improving her record to three wins from four starts. In addition to the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity, she also captured the APHA Maiden Stakes earlier this season.
Collective Power became the eighth black-type performer for Uncle D in 2026, which include:

From his first three crops to race, Uncle D has quickly established himself among the nation's elite young sires, while compiling 87 winners, 19 black-type performers and more than $3.6 million in progeny earnings, averaging more than $21,500 per starter.
Uncle D has sired five performers to surpass the $100,000 earnings mark, led by Heavens Uncle ($508,399), Uncle Redheads ($250,287), Runninagaindstwind ($149,021), D Fawn ($108,928) and Curlie D ($107,582).
He has consistently ranked among the leading sires with every crop to race and currently ranks as the No. 2 leading third-year sire in 2026.
