Double Registered Little Pyc to JEH Equine Reproduction For 2015 Season

WHITESBORO, TX—SEPTEMBER 8, 2014—Little Pyc, a stakes-placed double-registered AQHA/APHA son of leading sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon, will begin his stallion career in 2015 at JEH Equine Reproduction near Whitesboro, Texas. His fee has been set at $650 with consideration for early bookings and multiple mares.

Owned-and-raced by Buddy Albin, Little Pyc won or placed in four of 11 starts, earning $34,935. He was third in the $133,525 Northlands Futurity at Canterbury Park and was a finalist in the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile Invitational and $52,000 Canterbury Park Derby.

His sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon has been among the leading sires of money earners each year and has sired more than 60 stakes winner and earners of $15.7 million from five crops to race.

Little Pyc's dam is a double-registered Mini Melt SI 93, by First To Flash. She earned a combined total of $36,327 and was a finalist in the Olympia Joe Handicap (G1). She is also the dam of 2-year-old winner Ba Little Mini ($14,994), a full sibling to Little Pyc.

Mini Melt's sire First To Flash is also the sire of last year's leading first crop sire First Moonflash, who has sired both an All American Futurity(G1) winner and All American Derby(G1) winner in only two crops to race.

The second dam is a half-sister to Grade 1 Ruidoso Futurity winner Meltdown SI 98 ($247,855) and the third dam is a half-sister to Lafayette Futurity winner Alapass SI 101 ($110,385), etc. This is also the family of G3-placed Madam Cartel SI 95 ($323,214), stakes-placed Traffic Reporter SI 92 ($15,437), My Cold Corona SI 97, etc.
