Under regular rider J.B. Botello, Flight Clu14b broke well and dug in late to hold off One Famous Rock. He completed the task in 21.600 seconds to establish a new 440-yard track record, equaling a 101-speed index into a 15 mph headwind. The previous record of 22.102 was set on October 1, 2022, by Rowdysvision.

The 440-yard victory also earns Double Cruise a berth into the $265,000-estimated AQHA Challenge Championship [G1] at The Downs at Albuquerque on October 26.
US invader One Famous Rock earned $10,236(US) for finishing second. Mark Hanson conditions the 4-year-old One Famous Eagle gelding for owners RTM Stables, Kevin Dunn, and Bryon Goody.
