AMARILLO, TX–JULY 30, 2026–The AQHA Racing Challenge has proven its value to generations of horses, who have raked in black type and more than $120 million in purses.
One enrollment offers a lifetime of opportunity for a horse. From young to mature, from classic to extended distance, breeders and owners can see their horses pick up significant achievements.
The advantage starts early – before a horse even reaches the starting gate. As consigners begin to prepare their weanlings and yearlings for future sales events, keep in mind that in 2025, AQHA Challenge-enrolled yearlings averaged 38% higher sale price when the hammer came down.
The average sale price for a Challenge-enrolled yearling was $49,547 – nearly $19,000 more than what a non-enrolled horse brought.
In addition, the median value for a Challenge-enrolled yearling was $30,000 – nearly double the value for a non-enrolled horse.
For more information, or to enroll a horse, contact the Racing Challenge at (877) 222-7223 or enroll them online.
