PHOENIX, AZ—APRIL 26, 2017—Daniel Quinonez’s Triple Vodka Memorys, a Louisiana-bred daughter of Triple Vodka and the fastest qualifier, is the 3-1 morning-line favorite for Sunday’s 300-yard, $57,009 Desert Classic Futurity at Turf Paradise.
A $3,500 purchase at last year’s Louisiana QHBA Yearling Sale, Triple Vodka Memorys made his debut with a three-quarter length victory in the second of three trials on April 9. The filly drew post 8 and will be ridden by Joseph Belloc Jr.
Discrete Glory, a gelded son of No Secrets Here owned and trained by Ricardo M. Ramirez, drew post 7 and will be ridden by Vince Guerra. The second-fastest qualifier, Discrete Glory broke his maiden with a head victory as the odds-on favorite in the third Desert Classic Futurity trial.
