PHOENIX, AZ—JANUARY 21, 2022—Nineteen aged sprinters are entered in Wednesday’s 300-yard, $40,000 Allred Brothers Stakes at Turf Paradise, causing track management to offer the stakes in two divisions.
The first division drew nine horses, topped by Outta Debt, a 5-year-old First Moonflash mare owned and trained by Mario Dominguez. Outta Debt will be shortening in distance off of her wire-to-wire, one-length victory in the 350-yard, $30,000 Mike Hastings Memorial Stakes at Turf Paradise on December 8.
Outta Debt has won three of 17 races and has earned $78,834. The mare drew post 8 and will be ridden by Joree Scriver.
Bella Faccia, an 8-year-old One Famous Eagle stallion owned and trained by Dominguez, will make his season debut in the second division. Bella Faccia earned $54,566 from five starts last year, and he ended his 7-year-old campaign with a neck victory as the 3-2 favorite in the December 23, 100-yard Dashing All The Way Stakes at Turf Paradise.
Bella Faccia drew post 10 and will be ridden by Jacob Enriquez.
Chicks Fayvorite, a homebred 9-year-old Favorite Cartel gelding trained by Ralph Fales for owner Martha “Mimi” Wells, drew post 8 and will be ridden by Luis Valenzuela in the second division. Chicks Fayvorite has shipped in from Los Alamitos, where the gelding scored a half-length win in the 400-yard, $25,000 Blane Schvaneveldt Stakes on October 23.
