The graded stakes placed One Fine V and Blood N Pepper are among the 51 2-year-olds entered in Friday's 350-yard Firecracker Futurity (G2) trials at Delta Downs.

A $17,500 purchase at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale in Oklahoma City, One Fine V is a sorrel daughter of One Famous Eagle trained by Josue Ponce for owners Jose Maria Garza and Mario H. Vazquez.

The filly has earned $142,277 from three races and his coming off of a third-place finish, a half of a length behind winner Tres Crystals, in the May 28, $1.112-million Heritage Place Futurity (G1) at Remington Park.

One Fine V drew post 8 and will be ridden by Victor Urieta Jr. in the last of six trials.

Blood N Pepper will be stretching out off of his second-place run, 1 1/4 lengths behind winner Bye Corona Bye, in the April 3, 300-yard West Texas Futurity (G2) at Sunland Park. Josue Ponce trains the sorrel Apollitical Blood gelding for Alamada Racing.

Blood N Pepper was a $26,500 buy at last year's TQHA Yearling Sale. The gelding drew post 2 and will be ridden by Victor Urieta Jr. in the second heat.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from Friday's trials will meet in the July 9, $100,000-added Firecracker Futurity final.
