GRAND PRAIRIE, TX-–NOVEMBER 7, 2022–
Sixteen horses, all of whom have started for a claiming price of $12,500 this year, are entered in Saturday's 300-yard StallioneSearch.com Claimers Cup Middle Ground trials.

Ismael Quijada's SS Fancy Wagon drew post 7 and will be ridden by Roman Cruz for trainer Cosme Quijada in the second of two heats. A 3-year-old daughter of Im A Fancy Pyc claimed by Quijada for $10,000 at Fair Meadows at Tulsa on June 3, SS Fancy Wagon will be stretching out in distance off of her 1 1/2-length victory in a 250-yard, $16,800 non-winners-of-two allowance dash at Will Rogers Downs on October 24.

The first trial is headed by Rey Donovan, a 3-year-old Valiant Hero gelding trained by Juan Diaz Jr. for owner Carlos Ponce. Rey Donovan is coming off of a second-place finish in a 300-yard, $19,000 non-winners-of-two allowance race at Lone Star Park on October 7.

Rey Donovan drew the rail post and will be ridden by Victor Urieta Jr.

The 12 fastest qualifiers from Saturday's trials will meet in the $70,000-est. StallioneSearch.com Claimers Cup Middle Ground final on December 17.
