Remington Park will host another round of schooling races for 2-year-olds on Wednesday.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 13, 2023–Trainers gearing up new horses for their first pari-mutuel events will have the opportunity to participate in the final training race session on the Remington Park schedule on Wednesday (March 15) .

There will be 14 non-wagering schooling races will be conducted for 2-year-old Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosas. First post is set for 11a.m. (CST).
All races are at 250 yards and offer horses new to the racing scene an opportunity to experience the procedure of a race date, mimicking the protocols they will go through for their first pari-mutuel race.

The training races are overseen by Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission stewards who determine the readiness of all horses for actual pari-mutuel competition.

The 2023 Remington Park American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season continues next week with a Thursday-Sunday schedule, March 16-19. First post time is 6 p.m. every day except Sunday when it’s 4 p.m. There are 10 races scheduled Thursday.
