SHELBYVILLE, IN–MAY 13, 2024–Red Headed Beach, a multiple stakes winning daughter of Escondido Beach racing for Pattie Marshall, will make her season debut in Thursday's 350-yard Harley Greene Derby (R) trials for state-bred 3-year-olds at Horseshoe Indianapolis.

Red Headed Beach ended her juvenile campaign with a six-race win streak that included three stakes; the streak was capped off by a half-length victory in the October 28, $205,000 Miss Roxie Little Futurity (R). Raced exclusively in Indiana, the filly has won earned $365,779 from seven starts.

Red Headed Beach drew post 6 and will be ridden by Rolando Pina for trainer Tim Eggleston.

Other prominent entries in Thursday's trials include Keith Bode's Malibu Beach, a stakes-winning Escondido Beach filly trained by Jessica Vazquez. Malibu Beach will be making her season debut off of a 2-year-old campaign during which she banked $93,782 from six races and scored a half-length victory in the September 2, $198,000 Indiana Stallion Futurity (R).

Malibu Beach drew post 8 and will be ridden by Giovani Vazquez-Gomez.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the June 1,$75,000-added Harley Greene Derby final.
