VINTON, LA–JUNE 3, 2024–One Fast Cajun, a 6-year-old son of Heza Fast Dash racing for Darrin Ladner and Norman Ladner, is one of seven distance specialists entered in Saturday's 870-yard, $25,000 Virgil Bond Stakes at Delta Downs.

One Fast Cajun made his season debut with a nose victory as the 1-5 favorite in an 870-yard, $26,000 allowance race for Louisiana-breds at Delta Downs on May 25. Shane Ladner trains the gelding.

One Fast Cajun has won 10 of his 16 starts at the 870-yard distance. The gelding drew post four and will be ridden by Ubaldo Luna.

Other contenders include Rogues Fast Sister. A 5-year-old Heza Fast Rogue mare trained by Gary Mason for owner Amber Mason, Rogues Fast Sister made her season debut with a two 1/4-length win on a muddy and sealed track in a 770-yard optional claiming race at Delta Downs on May 4.

Rogues Fast Sister drew post five and will be ridden by Ricardo Hernandez Jr.
