ALTOONA, IA–JUNE 13, 2024–Sixty-five 2-year-olds, led by Remington Park stakes winners Relentless American and Anna Belle, are entered in Monday's Prairie Meadows Gold Futurity trials at Prairie Meadows Racetrack.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from the seven 350-yard heats will meet in the July 6, $175,000-est. final.

A homebred son of Hes Relentless racing for Tom Maher of Pierre, South Dakota, Relentless American is coming off of a Remington Park spring campaign during which the gelding won all three of his races -- including the 330-yard, $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile Stakes (R) for Oklahoma-breds on April 29 -- and earned $56,569. Jason Olmstead trains the sorrel gelding.

Relentless American drew post 2 and will be ridden by Ramiro H. Garcia in the first trial.

Anna Belle is a sorrel daughter of Uncle D racing for Tom Smith and Lou Ann Smith. A $22,000 buy at last year's Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, the filly banked $56,051 from three outs at Remington Park, and her two wins included a head victory in the 350-yard, $70,000 FL Lady Bug Stakes (RG3) on May 25.

Anna Belle drew post 10 and will be ridden by Jorge Torres for trainer Jason Olmstead in the seventh heat.
