Horseshoe Indianapolis will host four trials for the $134,700 Jaguar Rocket Futurity on Thursday.

Williams Racing Stables Inc.’s WRS Mynameisrip is coming off of a neck victory on a muddy and sealed track in a 250-yard, $22,000 maiden-special-weight dash at the Sandy Ridge at The Red Mile meet in Lexington, Kentucky. The homebred Tarzanito gelding tops the Jaguar Rocket hopefuls in earnings at $17,600 from two outs.

WRS Mynameisrip drew the rail post and will be ridden by Luz D. Martinez for trainer Tony Cunningham in the first of four trials. The black gelding’s eight opponents in the first heat include Diaz Farms’ Thunderous, a daughter of One Fabulous Eagle trained by Shawna Martin. Thunderous made her debut with a neck victory in a 250-yard, $18,000 maiden-special-weight dash for Indiana-breds on May 22.

Thunderous drew post 3 and will be ridden by Diego Bocanegra.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from Thursday’s trials will meet in the July 20, $100,000-added Jaguar Rocket Futurity final.
