Nineteen State-Bred 2-Year-Olds Entered in North Dakota QHRA Futurity Trials

FARGO, NM–JULY 18, 2024–Nineteen North Dakota-bred juveniles led by stakes winner Im Rip are entered in Saturday's 350-yard NDQHRA Futurity (R) trials at North Dakota Horse Park.

A homebred son of the Corona Cartel stallion Rip Tide owned by Tyrell R. Moody, Im Rip has earned $12,510 from four starts in North Dakota and Montana, and his three wins include a half-length victory in the 300-yard, $16,000 Rusty Wilson Memorial Futurity (R) for state-bred 2-year-olds at Chippewa Downs at Belcourt.

Im Rip drew post two and will be ridden by Dakota Wood for trainer Francisco Estrada in the second of three trials.

The fastest qualifiers from Saturday's heats will meet in the $25,000-est. NDQHRA Futurity final on August 4.
